Modern Chinese Cuisine - the first restaurant of modern Chinese cuisine in Ukraine. A magical place where you can feel like a real emperor after tasting Peking duck. And the ability to touch your heart can only be achieved by traditional dim sum. Oriental noodles, unsurpassed wontons, and that's not the end of the story.
The interior of VAO was worked on by a team of recognized design masters - YOD Design Studio. The architects were inspired by the bamboo forest and created an installation of rails under the ceiling that unites the lobby and bar area.
Our team
Hector was born and raised in Colombia. Since childhood, thanks to his mother, he developed an interest in cooking. Following the call of his heart and his love for fine cuisine, Hector received a diploma with honors from the culinary academy in Bogotá. Hector's main credo is «Follow your dream, work hard and do everything so that you will be remembered.» During his stay in Asia, he very was inspired by deep culture and opened an ultra-modern JSC restaurant in Kyiv. Each dish is an author's masterpiece of Chef Hector Jimenez-Bravo.
